Listen. Many of my friends have long known that: I LOVE SNACKS… One friend (a comedian named Amy) called me “aggressively hungry”😂 and I meaaaannnnn, it’s sorta true tho’ y’all!

Yet my good college friend Ian wasn’t in this particular know about me+my essential need for snacks. Oh but today was his day :)!

When we hopped in a car to share a ride back into NYC from CT (after a Black alumni reunion weekend on our college’s campus) and I had us sittin’ there in the parking lot— happily arranging my/our car snack for easy grab and chew purposes—he broke in with questions. Ian was hilariously and for-real flummoxed y’all. Like, “what we doing?” and his question caught me by surprise:
